SCN is proud and honored to present a video by Dave Latourette, A Case Against Early Sport Specialization.

Dave Latourette is an instructor in the Kinesiology, Athletics & Dance Department at Santa Rosa Junior College in CA and is also respected nationally as a goalkeeper clinician and speaker. He also owns and operates his own successful coaching business focusing on endurance sports and more specifically on triathlons

He began his coaching career at Eastern Connecticut State University in 1989 and followed with coaching stints at: The University of Hartford, Dartmouth, and the University of Arkansas. At Hartford he coached in three NCAA Div I Tournaments including one Final Four appearance. From there he coached at NCAA Division I programs Dartmouth College and the University of Arkansas. Latourette also served as Director of Coaching for the Upper Valley Lightning Soccer Club in Hanover NH, and was the National Director for Toni DiCiccos SoccerPlus Goalkeeper School.
